With fourteen 9 hole and eighteen 18 hole courses in Dumfries and Galloway there is plenty of choice for all golfers from novices to very low handicappers.
We are able to arrange concessionary green fees at 3 local courses within 5–20 minutes drive of the hotel and offer the following golfing breaks:
- Summer Midweek breaks:
- Mid–March 2006 to Mid-October 2006
- Bed and Breakfast
- 1 round of golf per day
- From £52.00pppn (minimum 3 nights stay)
- Winter Midweek breaks:
- Mid–October 2006 to Mid-March 2007
- Bed and Breakfast
- 1 round of golf per day
- From £45.00pppn (minimum 2 nights stay)
The Courses
- Stranraer Golf Club (Creachmore):
- A par 72, 6300 yards, 18 hole championship course,designed by the highly esteemed James Braid, with excellent club house whose lounge overlooks most of the course and has views out over Loch Ryan to Cairn Ryan and Stranraer.

- A par 68, 5716 yards, 18 hole links course set on the shore of Luce Bay.

- A par 68, 5908 yards 18 hole and 1504 yards 9 hole course is a links type course set on the cliff top over looking the picturesque village of Portpatrick and to the Irish Sea.
